Exquisite corpse Critique

  1. Mike

    1. Good variety and seperation of sounds, I really liked the echo at the end. Not sure if this was just me, but some of the audio at the beginning was very quiet and maybe would translate better if it was louder. Calls to a Zoo like/outdoor environment.

  2. Rob

    1. Very strong opening with the bell like sound. It immediately set the scene. The second half seemed to vary a lot and felt less scary, but the end whas really strong and matched the beginning. Has an eerie scary feel, kind of like a horror movie.

  3. Alki

    1. There's a cool use of rhythm at the beginning, almost sounds like a song. Some parts are a bit repetitive and have an eerie suspenseful feel.

  4. Jeremy

    1. Imediate high energy clustered sounds that take you into the scene. Maybe the ending could be less abrupt. Creates a fast paced, highly energized almost anxious feel.

  5. Cal

    1. Good use of fading in and out of the sounds and music, and echoing. Maybe ease in to the louder sounds more. Creates a multisound scene that starts off almost serene with music then gets stressful distorted and loud then transitions back to quiet.

  6. Julia

    1. Good theme and use of sounds that follow. Maybe try to convey some of the emotions being felt without direct dialogue. Everyday life of a mom sounds.

  7. Hannah

    1. Good job creating the environment.Maybe increase the sound in and switch between more sounds in the beginning. Scene of someone on a walk, or hike, who then starts running.

  8. Caden

    1. Good opening with the breathing. Sounds could be a little less chopy.Scene of someone waking up and cooking.

  9. Garett

    1. Good use of sounds creates a busy stressful vibe in the middle. Beginning to me was confusing, it sounded much different from the rest maybe work on cohesiveness. Work like a scene person who is busy and stressed.

  10. Tasia

    1. I liked the use of the guitar towards the second half. Maybe create a more clear beginning, middle and end. Daily life scene.

  11. Brenden

    1. Good use of humor aspect with the bevergino clip.A little hard to clearly put together the scene. Mixed environment scene.

  12. Jordan

    1. Cool mix of sounds in the middle with the bell. Some sections were hard to hear. Mixed environment scene

  13. Jake

    1. Cool use of the music clips. Some repetitiveness that could be switched out for other sounds. Kind of trippy theme.

  14. Maggie

    1. I liked the echoing on the baby voice. Maybe fade the music in to each clip of it so it doesnt sound cut off.Cooking/ everyday life scene.

  15. Anjali

    1. I like the subtle quiet music in the background. Overall the audio was kind of quiet. Cafe scene/someone doing work.

  16. Michael

    1. Cool use of the guitar as base sound. Maybe utilze more sounds, its a little repetitive. Life of a song writer? Sounds like writing and music overlaid.

  17. Megan

    1. I think there was a good variety of sounds. I wasnt sure where the humming sounds fit in at some points.Sounds like a scene from someones daily life, walking down the street, going in and out of house.

  18. Gavin

    1. I like the ambient nose in the background-water and birds. Some parts seemed very loud compared to some quiet parts. Maybe a beach outdoor scene-a gathering of friends?

  19. Jacob

    1. I like the use of the echo in many parts.Scene is trippy at some points, and shows everyday sounds at other points.

  20. Sarah

    1. I like how you were able to layer the voices. Some parts are a bit repetitive Sounds like a restaurant with multiple voices.

  21. Calvin

    1. I like the erie overlying sound that goes through the whole thing, reminds me of the movie Arrival. Some of the sounds are repeated a lot. space theme.

  22. Alan

    1. I like that some things sound similar thorughout. Audio levels are inconsistent. Sounds like an everyday life scene.
